Sources
Brand profiles draw from each brand's published product pages, nutrition information panels, and corporate or about-us material. Science and explainer articles draw from peer-reviewed research (where cited), bodies like the American College of Sports Medicine, the Australian NHMRC, Food Standards Australia New Zealand, and established sports nutrition references.
What We Don't Do
We don't conduct independent lab testing of products. We don't run blind taste panels. Both have their place, but the editorial approach here is to be honest about what we are - readers compiling research and writing balanced overviews - rather than implying we run capabilities we don't.
How We Treat Brands
The same template for every brand: who they are, the range, formulation notes, and who reaches for the product. We don't include a "score" or a "rating." Every brand is described in equitable language; if we make a critical observation about one brand, we apply the same lens to all brands.
Updates
Brand profiles get a refresh annually or when the brand makes a notable formulation or range change. Research articles are updated when relevant new research is published or guidance from bodies like the ACSM is revised.
Corrections
If you spot an error - a wrong sodium value, an outdated ownership note, a broken citation - please contact us. We update promptly and acknowledge corrections.
